Walking alongside individuals and groups supporting each in their own way to finding ease and peace.
I practice as an Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping Practitioner/Trainer, Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, Meditation/Mindfulness Practitioner. I have been practicing for the last 24 years. I am currently in Training to be a Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie.
It was my introduction to meditation over 35 years ago, that started me on a purposeful path of freedom. Following years of practicing as a Registered Homeopath, I made a powerful discovery in 2005 – EFT alias Tapping. EFT/Tapping found me during a time when I was feeling depressed, hopeless and disillusioned with life. With EFT I immediately felt relief and a darkness lift. Layers of beliefs, thoughts about my life and fears fell away. From this a love and acceptance of so much more of life surfaced. EFT is a great tool to have on hand when a limiting belief, or an uncomfortable feeling arises.
Then in 2008, I met The Work of Byron Katie. This process of questioning on a daily basis has changed my whole way of experiencing and being in the world as a human being. I continue to move from a place of fear to that of love. It changed how I am with every person and situation in my life. Each day, encountering any stressful thought becomes an opportunity to sit and discover and be with what is; a kindness leaving me more open, honest, and in love with living my life.
I still practice as a classical homeopath offering remedies. I also work with flower and crystal essences, and offer nutritional advise. I have worked in a health food shop offering nutritional advise for 25 years.
These practices realise the person I am today, and I love to share them with others.
What do I offer
The Work is meditation, stillness is the practice. The process is simple, yet powerful: we ask four very specific questions of any stressful thought. Through this questioning, the thoughts lose their power. To use the words of Byron Katie, the founder of this inspiring method: “Life is simple. Everything happens for you, not to you. Everything happens at exactly the right moment, neither too soon nor too late. You don’t have to like it. It’s just easier if you do.”
Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT is a healing tool that can provide impressive results for physical, emotional and performance issues. It operates on the premise that no matter what part of your life needs improvement or change, there are unresolved emotional issues in the way. EFT can be used to support us in moving forward, in identifying blocks to achieving greater success, reaching goals, improving relationships.
Being mindful is simple, but it’s not always easy. Mindfulness can be practiced by walking mindfully, paying attention to the moment to moment experience, bringing ourselves home with kindness and calm when we are distracted in our thoughts. Mindfulness is befriending ourselves and our experience of living. It supports relief from stress and unease in our lives, opening us up to peace and rest in each moment. Mindfulness is a way of living and being with life.
All these methods and ways of practicing have a similar thread woven into their fabric of wellness. Each way facilitates us finding a willingness, a freedom to love and accept ourselves and our life exactly as it is. They are all pathways to freedom, peace and living in a kind world.
