Befriending the mind

Writing today on the Spring Equinox, darkness moving into light, the earth Goddess waking from her deep slumber in the earth, now emerging into budding growth and life. Standing outside our back door last night in the darkness I remember to notice my breathing, in and out, and ‘hear’ the air. Silence inside. And then a thought; Where is the moon gone? Lost in a thought. Good to notice – thats the mindful bit  – noticing where my attention went. I love Jon Kabat Zinn’s words ‘Mindfulness is a way of befriending ourselves and our experience’ I take this to include no matter what is happening, feeling sad, happy, confused, clear, angry, calm, unwell, well, in pain or at ease, it’s befriending it all, instead of pushing away uncomfortable feelings and experiences.

Ready to work together? I am happy to hear from you. I look forward to meeting with you and sharing these profound, beautifully simple, elegant approaches for peace and wellbeing.
